Munich → Budapest · 12 Days · September 2028
On the Horizon
Bram Stoker never visited Romania. He built Dracula from history books, maps, and imagination. This trip takes you inside the real thing — by rail from Munich through Vienna, across the Hungarian plain, and deep into Transylvania's Saxon citadels, Carpathian fortresses, and forests that go dark early in September.
Twelve days. Habsburg coffeehouses in Vienna. Thermal baths in Budapest. The medieval citadel at Sighișoara where Vlad Dracula was born. Bran Castle in the shadow of the Carpathians. Peleș Castle at Sinaia. Fortified Saxon churches in villages that haven't changed in centuries. A reading list that goes far beyond Stoker — into Kafka, Zweig, Márai, and the writers who mapped the fault lines of Central Europe.
